Implementation Process

Step 1 – Project Kick Off
Firstly a Project Initiation Document (PID) is completed, which sets out the stages and ensures all stakeholders are clear on their role and responsibilities.
Step 2 – Project Analysis / Scope of Works
The project analysis involves a joint process between A.S.K Learning and you to define the required functionality, outcomes and configurations. During this phase we also commence a risk assessment and mitigation strategy. The outcome of this phase is a Scope of Works document that details the exact deliverables for the project and includes wireframes of all the main screens, a project plan and the investment associated with developing and operating the solution.
Step 3 – Development
We break the deliverables down into a series of discrete phases and develop, test and review each phase sequentially. Completing this process iteratively ensures that any identified changes or adjustments can be made early on, resulting in more rapid and effective development.
Step 4 – Quality Control
Each deliverable is first unit tested by a developer and then the system is passed on to our support team who create a test plan and retest the component. You are then provided with the test plans and access to our staging site to complete your testing process. After our final end-to-end test based on the full set of test scripts, we release the system to you for final testing and sign off. Training to your administrators and support staff is then provided and we help you develop the training materials for your users.
Step 5 – Deployment
The system is then deployed to production. You may choose a phased release, either to a pilot group or to sections of your organisation as you decide.
Step 6 – Support
Immediately after deployment we typically complete a project review to capture any learning that occurred during the project. Ongoing support of your system is then provided by our support team. We provide an online solution that enables you to communicate and monitor progress on any support issues that occur.
